We wish to thank everyone who made this event a
success. We could not have done this without the help from the sponsors
and we thank them from the bottom of our heart. Special thanks to our
decorator who did a enormous job of making the place as beautiful as
possible. Thanks to all volunteers who worked tirelessly and the
committees who gave 200% in making this event a success. Thanks to our
interpreters, Mrs Wisdom and Miss Antoinette Aiken for helping out.
Great thanks to each and everyone of the 8
contestants who thrilled the audience and made the first ever Miss Deaf
Jamaica a great success. I could not have done this without the help of
the man upstairs who blessed us all with the energy, strength, and
ability to pull this off. Last but not least, thanks to families,
make-up artists, friends, sound-men, Lister Mair/GIlby Dancers, Danny
Williams Primary School Dancers, Anthony and Zandrea, and everyone else
who turned out and bless this event.
Thanks again and I look forward to a bigger, and
better event next year and greater success through better collaborations
with the sponsors, friends, families and committees. Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year from the Miss Deaf Jamaica Team.
